What we look for in a supplier
Naturally our tendering processes and award criteria will be different depending on the type of goods and/or services being procured. However, we will typically award on the basis of most economically advantageous tender with competition being our primary vehicle to demonstrate the delivery of value. Areas that may be looked at when assessing suppliers include:
- Health & Safety
- Delivery Methodology
- Resources (internal and external)
- Information Management
- Quality Management
- Risk and Value Management
- Commercial focus and acceptance of Heathrow T & C’s
Heathrow expansion is a major national infrastructure project that will require expertise from every part of Britain. Which is why we are locating four logistics hubs – off-site centres for pre-assembly and consolidation – across the country, to help deliver expansion efficiently, sustainably, and to source the skills we need to expand from all across the UK.
