On Day 10 of our Christmas #12daysofexports 2018 we’re profiling the oldest cycle shop in the world, Pearson Cycles!

Established in 1860, this London business continues to go from strength to strength with a fifth generation now in charge!

While the store initially began as a blacksmiths store set-up on Sutton’s High Street that also repaired bicycles, by 1889 the family had made the decision to focus entirely on bicycles.

Today, Pearson Cycles exports across the world including to customers in Japan, Australia and the USA – and all via Heathrow!

From bicyles, to crisps, leather goods, tea and whiskey barrel goods – there truly is a wide array of great British SME success stories exporting to the world via Heathrow.

Keep an eye on @yourHeathrow tomorrow for the 11th business in the Christmas #12daysofexports series!
